Lilou Mace is a fountain of energy and confidence, yet when she lost her highly paid job she suffered, as all of us can, from a momentary blow to her self confidence. This book is her journal of her thoughts and actions as she discovers, in fact, that her life has just been set free so she can do what she really feels to be authentic.
And that's the great advantage of this honest, refreshing book. Most writers record their experiences after the events are safely over, and that makes it all seem as if everything was working to a plan all along. Lilou shows us what it feels like from day to day - the challenges to her positive thinking, the hopes that sometimes materialize spectacularly, and sometimes don't. We feel what it's like to experience all that first hand. And in the process she listens to her life, sees what she needs to do, and lets the universe support her in it.
For anyone who is looking to use the Law of Attraction and to change their life this will be a most useful book, since it says, in effect, that we can't know for sure where life will take us, and so we have to travel with faith and optimism, and be grateful for where it takes us. That's when we'll attract what we need, and what the planet needs from us.

ABOUT ALLAN HUNTER
Allan was born and educated in England, living in Surrey and Oxfordshire before moving to Boston and becoming a naturalized American citizen. In his youth he lived in Belgium, Italy (Sardinia), and Madagascar as well as England. He received a doctorate at Oxford University in literature with a focus on Joseph Conrad. After graduating he traveled to India, South Africa, Peru, Tunisia and all through Europe. He worked for a time with disturbed adolescents before teaching literature at Farleigh-Dickinson University in Wroxton, England. After moving to Boston he began teaching at Curry College where he is a full professor. He has also taught prisoners in Massachusetts jails and has a counseling practice.
His work with his father, Jim, an RAF prisoner of war during WW2, on a memoir, From Coastal Command To Captivity, led to an understanding of the ways memoir writing can heal trauma. Allan now teaches memoir at The Blues Hills Writing Institute at Curry College.
